Mvisualmedia

Websites for district heating and cooling companies.

A website your buyers understand at a glance, built and maintained for a monthly fee. I work inside the sector, so your team explains less. Start with a free inspection of your current site.

What would an inspection find on your website? I'm Marcus Steensland. Below are the problems I see most often in district heating, cooling and cleantech, and how I fix them.

What a fix looks like: a product page opening, rewrittenFictional example

Before · written for engineers

Pre-insulated bonded pipe systems, DN 20–1000. PUR foam insulation, insulation series 1–3, steel service pipe to EN 253, max operating temperature 140 °C.

After · read by buyers

Lower heat losses for the whole life of your network. Pipe systems for new district heating networks and renovations, from service lines to transmission mains.

Full specifications one click away, where engineers look for them.

Why it works: a CFO, a municipality or an investor sees the benefit and where the product fits in the first sentence. The engineer still finds every specification.

Where energy-sector websites lose heat

A thermal camera shows where a building leaks energy. Read a company website the same way and the leaks are just as easy to see: attention pools in the wrong places, and the path to contact runs cold.

IR
Synthetic illustration: a typical company web page, scanned. Drag the line to compare. The spec blocks run hottest (Sp1), the contact button runs coldest (Sp2), the news strip has gone cold (Sp3) and the body text gives search nothing to hold on to (Sp4).
  1. Sp1

Written for engineers, read by buyers.

Specs and product sheets come first. The CFO, the municipality or the investor can't find the point in ten seconds.

RemedyLead with the outcome for the buyer. Keep the specs one click deep, where engineers look for them.

  2. Sp2

    The contact path runs cold.

A generic form at the bottom of a long page, and no clear next step anywhere above it.

RemedyOne obvious action on every page, visible without scrolling.

  3. Sp3

    Built once, never maintained.

Old news on the front page and broken links tell visitors the company has gone quiet.

RemedyMonthly care: updates, fixes and new content, handled for you.

  4. Sp4

    Hard to understand in search.

More buyers start their search with AI assistants. Pages without clear structure are harder for them, and for search engines, to read.

RemedyExplain your products, applications and buyer benefits plainly, with descriptive headings and useful technical detail.

Common patterns, not measured statistics.
